Midweek School

Happy Fall!

It is time to begin a new year of Mid-Week at Faith Lutheran. Our first meeting will be next Wednesday,September 7, from 4:00 - 6:30 pm and will meet each Wednesday.

1. Age groupings for Mid-Week:

a.Kindergarten - Second Grade (leaders - Jan Blachford and Angie Haugland)

b.Third - Fifth Grade Bible History (leader - Sharon Zilm)

c. Sixth - Eighth Grade Catechism (leader -Pastor Mitteis)

2. Other staff and support leaders:

a. Recreation and Crafts (Donna Graham)

b.Chef (Brie Gray)

c.Security (Karen Dawdy)

3. Weekly Schedule for Mid-Week:

a. 4:00-4:15 (free time/snack time)

b.4:15-5:30 (bible story/crafts)

c. 5:30-6:00 (music/fun/worship)

d.6:00-6:30 (supper)

4. Supper will be provided each week, being served in the Activity Center. Parents are always welcome to join us for supper, let us know in advance if possible.

OTHER SUPPER THINGS:

a. Families will be asked to make a $1 weekly contribution to help with supper costs.

b. We are in need of parental volunteers to assist with snacks, dinner chaperon, desserts, and clean-up. Attached is a volunteer information sheet. If you would be willing to assist once per month in some capacity it would be a great help.
